We provide comprehensive logistical support from transporting individual pieces locally and shipping small parcels, to coordinating multiple venue international traveling exhibitions. Our comprehensive services include: global logistical coordination, insurance, and security- including tarmac, load/unload supervision and courier services.

Ground Transportation

Artech’s fleet of trucks is designed and custom-built for the safe and secure transport of fine art. Our climate-controlled vehicles with air-ride suspension keep art as stable as possible in transit. Each truck is equipped with locks, alarms, GPS tracking, and features a cargo compartment that is isolated from the cab.

A minimum of two of our expert art handlers staff each truck which guarantees that once we reach our destination, only the most qualified people are unloading our trucks. Our trucks are intentionally scaled so that they can fit in to virtually any driveway or loading dock. Integrated lift gates facilitate pickup and delivery of art, even in the most challenging of locations.

With sleeper cabs and professional drivers on staff, Artech is pleased to provide exclusive, dedicated transport for private collectors or museum exhibitions. Airport supervision and security escorts can additionally be provided for high-value objects.

International Shipping and Customs Clearances

Artech utilizes a trusted global network of qualified art transport companies for facilitating shipments across the globe. Our well versed shipping department oversees all aspects of your shipment to ensure your items are safely and securely collected, packed and shipped to their final destination. We facilitate and manage the full range of customs brokerage including customs clearance for import/export, merchandise processing fees, carnets and permits, customs bonds and all other applicable documentation and forms. On-site security and supervision services for arrivals/departures are available to maintain a secure chain of custody. Artech is a single source for executing the safest form of shipping for your objects.

Artech has 2 licensed customs brokers on staff and can facilitate your international import from door to door, totally in house. This service provides better oversight of the end-to-end execution of the movement and better safeguards the details of your sensitive shipment.

West Coast Shuttle

Move works easily and quickly along the I-5 corridor with the security of a skilled art handler operated Fine Art Shuttle. With regularly scheduled routes three times a month from Seattle to Los Angeles, and once a month stops in Vancouver, BC, Artech’s West Coast Shuttle provides an economical transportation option for fine art between these centers. Service add-ons are ok, since our drivers are fully trained technicians!
